Description
Hardinge offers a Collet Adaptation Chuck for converting a Gang Tool 5C spindle to a #22 Brown & Sharpe collet system. This is a push-to-close dead-length system. The chuck assembly offers better grip force, less flexing, and more spread for easier auto load. The opportunity for wear on the spindle is reduced because the closing sleeve is replaceable. With this adapter, it becomes easier to clean out chips.
