Description
Hardinge offers a Collet Adaptation Chuck for converting an A2-5 16C spindle to #22 Brown & Sharpe collet use. This is a push-to-close dead-length system. The chuck assembly offers better grip force, less flexing, and more spread for easier auto load. The opportunity for wear on the machine spindle is almost eliminated because the closing sleeve is replaceable. With this adapter, it becomes easier to clean out chips.
