AHC14 2" Extended Tool Holder

The precision extension tool holder is used for turning operations or for holding tools to back-face flanged work. It can also be used when adjustments are needed for tool positioning.

The extension tool holder mounts directly into the T-slot of a machine's turret, and uses 3/8" square shank tool bits. The holder is adjustable, using a dial graduated in increments of .0002", for adjusting the diameter of the workpiece.

Each holder has a maximum adjustment range of .025" (.64 mm). Once the holder has been positioned and finely adjusted to size, the adjustment can be locked in place using a handle located on the top of the holder. A 5/8" round shank tool can be held in the holders by using the AHC22 boring tool adapter. For larger diameter work, use offset fine-adjustable turning tool holders (AHC1, AHC2, AHC3, and AHC4).
