Description

Self-centering vises are workholding devices that use two jaws that move in equal and opposite directions to automatically adjust your workpiece to the center. When centered with your milling machine spindle, self-centering vises help improve precision and repeatability for boring, drilling, tapping and finishing applications by keeping workpieces in a secure position as they are machined. Self-centering vises can be used for both horizontal and vertical machining and can be used with conventional and CNC machines.

4” Self-Centering Vise Features

Kurt’s 4″ self-centering manual vise has a 4-inch jaw width and a unique adjustment feature that allows you to set and reset the centerline of the jaws as needed, which is especially useful when you are working to mount and align multiple vises on one machine. Vise also features our patented AngLock® design with zero lift to pull and hold parts down securely and provide even greater accuracy for your precision work on steel, cast aluminum and iron machining.
