Description
The Sure-Grip® Expanding Collet System can be used on any Hardinge spindle as well as all other machines with A2-5, A2-6 and A2-8 spindles. When mounted on Hardinge lathes, a Draw Collet is used. When mounted on ANSI and ISO A2 series spindles, a Draw Bar Adapter is used. The adapter is machined by the customer to fit the particular spindle’s draw tube/bar. If the customer does not have the ability to machine the adapter, Hardinge will machine it with quick delivery and at a nominal cost.
